Weddings and banquets


We have our own private church at RVS, which can be rented for weddings.
We can accommodate and arrange wedding ceremonies and banquets. See one sample menu below. Menus can be discussed and agreed with you.

We can also arrange music, flowers, a photographer, a hairdresser etc. and we have a colleague, who specializes in the paperwork both for religious and civil weddings.

Choices are also available to suit vegetarians and people with food intolerances.


Starter

Assortment of several from the following:
  • pizzette siciliane (mini Sicilian pizzas)
  • piccoli calzoni (mini pasties)
  • pressed pizza stuffed with ham and cheese
  • Parma ham and mozzarella or melon or figs
  • Torta rustica (country pie with ricotta, spinaci, mushrooms)
  • Tortini di pan brioche (mini brioche pies with dried tomatoes, anchovies, and pecorino sheep cheese)
  • Quiche
  • Melon
  • Mozzarella in carrozza(mozzarella breaded and fried with anchovies
  • Potato salad (with tuna, olives, pachino tomatoes, or French beans…)
  • Involtino di bresaola (roulade of cured beef stuffed with cheese and an aroma of lemon
  • Fresh sheep ricotta cheese
  • Buffalo Mozzarella



  • First Courses
    Choice of two from the following:
  • Cannelloni with spinach and ricotta cheese
  • Lasagne made with egg based pasta, with pesto Genovese (basil, pine-seeds, French beans and best Italian extra virgin olive oil) or with Bolognese ragout or with artichokes or with spinach or with mushrooms and truffle cream
  • Cannelloni stuffed with ragout or with ricotta and spinach, served with tomato sauce
  • Crepes with eggplant and provola cheese or with chicory and spicy salame or with ham and mozzarella or with mushrooms, served with tomato sauce or beshamel.
  • Oven pasta with choice of different sauces



  • Second Course (meat)
    Choice of two of the following - all dishes are accompanied by a choice of cooked vegetables, salads, potatoes etc. (See fish options below)
  • Turkey polpettone (meat-loaf) with rosemary sauce or falso magro (pork arista with stuffing)
  • Braised beef with Barolo wine
  • Arista di maiale (chine of pork served with potato and rosemary sauce (bacon cheese, aromatic herbs and hard boiler eggs).
  • Roast beef shank with mushrooms
  • Boneless chicken leg with rosemary and lemon sauce
  • Involtini di vitello (veal roulade with tomato, stuffed with fontina cheese and sage)
  • Spezzatino al vino moscato (veal stew with Muscat wine, carots and celery)



  • Second Course (fish)
    There would be a small increase in price for this:
  • Spigola in crosta (Bass pie) with potatoes, mushrooms, courgettes.
  • Fresh salmon with courgettes and tomatoes
  • Roulade with anchovies and mozzarella
  • Fish polpettine in umido



  • Sweet
    Choice of one of the following:
  • crostata di frutta (fruit shortcrust pastry)
  • cassata siciliana
  • home made ice-cream



  • Wines and beverages
    Ample choice of wines, prosecco, champagne, and other beverages.
